SAMURAI FLAMENCO EPISODE 1
im gonna lose my god damn mindi feel like it would be considered a crime if i wrote a full plot summary of what happens in this show. but i'll give you an elevator pitch of it.
basically: gotou is a local police officer. masayoshi is a rich boy that really really wants to be a superhero. his superhero name is samurai flamenco. he is incredibly pathetic. gotou first meets him sitting naked in an alleyway.
And then they become friends.
This entire episode is basically summed up as masayoshi keeps dragging gotou into situations but also gotou is willingly letting himself be dragged into them. and now here's the weird part of this anime: i don't think that samurai flamenco is advertised as being yaoi. ... but there's no fucking way it's not yaoi. there is NO fucking way. they keep doing things. is this bait? is this what bait is? why are they doing that.

also the concept of a guy that really really really wants to be a sentaisuit fighterguy but he's just straight up in regular modern society is SO funny

it's a really funny anime. and im also fucking baffled if it's supposed to be yaoi or not. So Yeah!okay i have to be honest. immediately after writing this review i binged the rest of samurai flamenco because i was so, so deadly curious what in the world it was doing. i won't tell you what it did but i will tell you that you should watch samurai flamenco.
